Law360, New York (June 17, 2010, 2:34 PM EDT) -- City National Bank has filed suit against investment adviser Kenneth I. Starr, who was recently indicted in connection with an alleged $59 million fraud scheme, in New York state court seeking a judgment of more than $2.6 million, alleging Starr is in default under a promissory note.
City National on Wednesday filed a summons, a notice of motion for summary judgment and supporting papers in lieu of a complaint against Starr in the New York County Supreme Court.
