MMS Rechristened With Fried Frank Partner At Helm

Law360, New York (June 22, 2010, 5:59 PM EDT) -- The Minerals Management Service has become the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement with former U.S. Department of Justice official Michael Bromwich spearheading the administration's efforts to reform the troubled agency.

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar swore Bromwich in Monday, formalizing the former Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP litigation partner's appointment to handle the restructuring of the renamed agency.
