Midway Games Settles Suit Over Unpaid Wages

Law360, New York (June 22, 2010, 3:41 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt Midway Games Inc. has earned approval of a settlement with its creditors committee and the Illinois Department of Labor that resolves an adversary proceeding surrounding unpaid wages to terminated employees.

The stipulation, signed Monday by Judge Kevin Gross of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, could mean payouts of more than $143,000 to make up for unpaid time off accrued by 16 employees let go in early 2009.
