IBM Faces FLSA Suit From Call Center Employees

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 2:36 PM EDT) -- IBM Corp. has been hit with a proposed class action from an employee at one of its call centers who claims the computer giant fails to pay overtime and wages for time spent by employees booting up and logging onto work computers.

Eva Puckett, who worked for IBM at a call center in Atlanta, filed the class action complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
