FCC Pauses NBC-Comcast Deal For Lack Of Info

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 1:09 PM EDT) -- The Federal Communications Commission has suspended its approval process for a proposed joint venture between Comcast Corp. and NBC Universal Inc., saying that the media giants haven't fully complied with the agency's requests for information.

FCC Media Bureau Chief William T. Lake asked counsel for Comcast and NBC on Thursday to revise and supplement their responses to the agency's requests for information regarding the companies' bid to transfer control of certain FCC licenses.
