NMB's Change To Rule On Airline Unions Upheld

Law360, New York (June 25, 2010, 5:49 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Friday upheld a National Mediation Board rule that makes it easier for rail and airline unions to organize, in the face of a challenge from an organization that represents airlines and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

After hearing oral arguments, Judge Paul L. Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in a brief order denied summary judgment to the Air Transport Association of America Inc. and the Chamber, saying he would issue an opinion no later than Monday....
