FLYi Bids For More Time To Remove Civil Actions

Law360, New York (February 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bankrupt airline FLYi Inc. is seeking more time to file notices of removal with respect to certain pending civil actions filed before the carrier ducked into bankruptcy.

FLYi said in court documents filed Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware that the extension will afford the carrier additional time to determine whether to remove any pending prepetition civil action and is in the best interests of its estates and creditors.
