Delphi Union Aims For Deal By End Of Month

Law360 (February 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The second-largest union at Delphi Corp. said it hopes to reach a tentative agreement with the bankrupt auto parts maker by the end of February, a crucial step in the company’s efforts to emerge from bankruptcy.

IUE-CWA negotiators will begin intensive meetings with representatives from Delphi, its investment group and General Motors starting February 12 in an attempt to reach local and national agreements at the auto parts manufacturer, the union said.
