Wyeth Notches Victory In Texas Prempro Suit

Law360, New York (February 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has tossed a case involving claims that Wyeth’s hormone replacement therapy Prempro caused a Texas woman’s breast cancer, marking the latest victory for the drug maker as it faces a slew of similar claims nationwide.

Wyeth said on Friday that Judge Caroline E. Baker of the Harris County District Court in Houston, Texas had granted its motion for summary judgment and dismissed the case of Brockert v. Wyeth.
