Sex Toy Maker Sues Rivals Over Fleshlight Patents

Law360, New York (July 1, 2010, 2:34 PM EDT) -- Interactive Life Forms LLC has accused more than 20 companies — including Shenzhen Shaki Industrial Co. Ltd., which bills itself as China's first registered sex toy maker — of infringing two patents that cover a sex toy for men that resembles a flashlight, known as the Fleshlight.

ILF filed suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, also targeting Chino, Calif.-based California Exotic Novelties Inc.; Hong Kong-based Nanma Manufacturing Co. Ltd.; Tokyo-based Tenga Co. Ltd.; and Wappinger Falls, N.Y.-based Gigglesworld Corp.,...
