Eolas Plaintiffs Counter Microsoft Request For Federal Circuit Appeal

Law360, New York (July 20, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The University of California and Eolas have filed a brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to counter Microsoft's request for an appeal of a $565 jury verdict.

In its filing, Microsoft asked that the infringement judgment be reversed. As an alternative, Microsoft asked the court to vacate the verdict and grant a new trial.
