HuffPost Becomes Last Defendant In Web Ad IP Spat

Law360 (July 7, 2010, 1:43 PM EDT) -- Newspaper publishing company A.H. Belo Corp. has become the latest in a flood of defendants to exit Fowler Woods LLC's patent infringement suit over online ad technology, leaving only TheHuffingtonPost.com Inc. as a target in the litigation.

Judge T. John Ward of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Friday approved a motion by Fowler Woods to voluntarily dismiss A.H. Belo without prejudice, though details of the dismissal were not immediately available.

Each side will bear its own costs and fees, the order said.
