Air Products Pumps Up Hostile Bid For Airgas

Law360, New York (July 8, 2010, 6:00 PM EDT) -- Air Products & Chemicals Inc. said Thursday that it was sweetening the price it is willing to pay for outstanding shares of its rival Airgas Inc. to $63.50 per share — or about $5.5 billion — from $60 per share, raising the stakes in its hostile takeover attempt.
