Real Estate Brokerage Antitrust Suit Survives Bid To Nix

Law360, New York (July 9, 2010, 6:19 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has turned down a bid to dismiss a putative class action against West Penn Multi-List Inc. and several western Pennsylvania real estate brokerages alleging price-fixing and restraint of competition.

It would be premature at this stage to dismiss the case without the benefit of additional facts that could be uncovered during the discovery process, according to Judge Arthur Schwab of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
