GE Osmonics Pares Down OT, Rest Break Suit

Law360, New York (July 13, 2010, 3:58 PM EDT) -- GE Osmonics Inc. has chiseled away at a lawsuit brought by a former fabrication machine operator alleging the company denies its hourly workers the wages and rest periods they are due under California law.

On Monday, Judge Jeffrey T. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California jettisoned four claims against the General Electric Co. division, which still faces six other claims over allegedly exploitative pay policies at a fabrication facility.
