3 States Protest $5M Epson Deal In LCD Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (July 14, 2010, 6:50 PM EDT) -- A judge has allowed the states of Washington, Oregon and Illinois to intervene in the thin-film transistor liquid crystal display price-fixing multidistrict litigation in order to protest the indirect purchaser plaintiffs' proposed $5 million settlement with Epson Imaging Devices Corp.

Judge Susan Illston signed off on the intervention requests in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday.
