Gibson Dunn Advises Aecom On $245M Tishman Buy

Law360, New York (July 15, 2010, 2:32 PM EDT) -- Aecom Technology Corp., a technical and management support service provider, has agreed to pay $245 million for Tishman Construction Corp., the construction manager overseeing the building of 1 World Trade Center.

Los Angeles-based Aecom's acquisition of Tishman includes a mix of cash and stock, the company said in a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Aecom plans to generate cash for the transaction, which closed on the same day, partly with proceeds from its recent $250 million debt-issuance.
