IPO Document Warnings Might Not Shield MF Global

Law360, New York (July 16, 2010, 10:48 AM EDT) -- An appeals court judge on Thursday suggested that warnings about risk management safeguards in initial public offering documents might not shield derivatives brokerage MF Global Ltd. from pension funds' securities claims related to a “rogue” trader’s loss of $141.5 million at the company.
