Court Prohibits Comair Pilots Strike

Law360, New York (February 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The bankruptcy court overseeing Comair’s Chapter 11 case has barred the cash-strapped Delta Air Lines Inc. subsidiary’s pilots union from striking, a development Comair touts as a key step forward in its reorganization.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Adlai S. Hardin’s Wednesday ruling in Comair’s favor follows the pilots union’s December 2006 vote, in which the pilots voiced overwhelming support for a strike if Comair rejects their contract and demands concessions.
