Handheld E-Mail Technology Triggers Suit

Law360 (February 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Finnish unit of Seven Networks Inc., a mobile e-mail technology firm, has expanded its patent infringement battle with rival Visto Corp. in a new federal lawsuit alleging fraud at the patent office.

The complaint, filed Feb. 6 in the Northern District of California, seeks a declaratory judgment that Helsinki-based Seven Networks International OY doesn’t infringe two patents Visto asserted against its parent company.
