Court OK’s Ravelston Plea Bargain In Black Case

Law360, New York (February 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The holding company once controlled by newspaper magnate Conrad Black has been given permission to plead guilty to fraud charges in conjunction with the criminal case pending against Black and his former associates.

A Canadian court has approved the plea agreement reached between federal prosecutors and Ravelston Inc., which is still owned by Black but is currently operating under federal receivership.
