9th Circ. Strikes Down Mattel Win In Bratz Battle

Law360, New York (July 22, 2010, 8:30 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court handed down an opinion Thursday in the long-running battle between Mattel Inc. and MGA Entertainment Inc. over Bratz dolls that called a $100 million jury award in Mattel's favor into question and vacated a constructive trust that transferred MGA's Bratz-related intellectual property to Mattel.
