Suit Against Weil Gotshal Dismissed

Law360, New York (February 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge has thrown out a suit brought by a Christian charity organization claiming that Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP mishandled its Chapter 11 case and seeking a $40 million award.

Tuesday, U.S. Chief Bankruptcy Judge Ronald B. King signed off on an order granting Weil Gotshal’s motion for summary judgment and nixing the National Benevolent Association’s bid for damages.
