Delta, Ambit Spar Over Wi-Fi Patent's Validity In Trial

Law360, New York (July 23, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- Three weeks into a trial over Ambit Corp.'s claims that Delta Air Lines Inc. infringes a patent for a wireless Internet system, Delta is asking the judge to rule that the patent-in-suit is invalid, while Ambit wants a finding that the patent is valid.

The dueling motions for judgment as a matter of law were filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, on the 11th day of a jury trial that began June 28.
