Plaintiffs Lose Class Cert. Bid in Mo. Neurontin Case

Law360, New York (July 30, 2010, 4:17 PM EDT) -- A Missouri judge has denied class certification to plaintiffs who sued Pfizer Inc. arguing they overpaid to use epilepsy drug Neurontin for off-label purposes for which the drug was ineffective.

In an order Tuesday, Judge Donald McCullin of the Missouri Circuit Court in St. Louis denied a motion for class certification filed by Jerry Meunier of Gainsburgh Benjamin Meunier & Warshauer LLC.
