Gibson Dunn Eyes Asian Market With Hong Kong Office

Law360, New York (August 3, 2010, 4:37 PM EDT) -- Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP plans to open an office in Hong Kong focusing on corporate transactions and regulation work with former General Electric International counsel Kelly Austin.

Austin, who joined the firm as a partner after eight years advising the engineering and manufacturing giant in Hong Kong, will found the new location along with current Gibson Dunn partner Joseph Barbeau and associate Kate Yin, who are both relocating from the firm's California offices, Gibson Dunn said Monday.
