Union Wants Northwest Pay Cuts Overturned

Law360 (February 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The union representing Northwest Airlines Corp.’s flight attendants asked the bankruptcy court Monday to overturn pay and benefits cuts the court imposed in July.

The move by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL-CIO, comes just over a week after the union submitted a contract proposal to the bankrupt carrier that it said would reduce by 20% the $195 million in proposed annual cuts Northwest imposed on the union last year.
