Williams & Connolly Reps Harman In Newsweek Deal

Law360, New York (August 2, 2010, 7:14 PM EDT) -- The Washington Post Co. said Monday that it would sell its financially foundering Newsweek title to Sidney Harman, the 91-year-old founder of audio equipment maker Harman International.

The Washington Post Co., which also owns an eponymous daily newspaper and test preparation company Kaplan Inc., did not disclose the terms of the deal but said it was not material to its financial position.
