Ford Eyes Settlement In Consolidated ERISA Cases

Law360, New York (August 3, 2010, 2:31 PM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. has reached a tentative settlement to resolve consolidated Employee Retirement Income Security Act litigation accusing the defendants of allowing heavy and allegedly imprudent investment of retirement plan assets in Ford common stock.

Judge Steven J. Murphy signed off on a stipulated order putting certain deadlines in the case on hold while the iron out the settlement's details on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
