BP Hit With $10B Suit Over Texas Refinery Emissions

Law360, New York (August 4, 2010, 2:06 PM EDT) -- BP Products North America Inc. refinery workers and residents of Texas City, Texas, have filed a $10 billion putative class action claiming the company continued to operate a faulty unit while the refinery released thousands of pounds of carcinogens during a 40-day period.
