FDNY Barred From Hiring In Light Of Unfair Test

Law360, New York (August 5, 2010, 2:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has enjoined New York City from hiring a new class of firefighters using a discriminatory entrance exam, saying it will have to explain why its need to appoint "a few hundred rookie firefighters" outweighs the need for racial equality.
