Developers' Case Against Gemini Scrapped

Law360, New York (August 5, 2010, 6:04 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a case brought by developers and owners of housing projects in California accusing Gemini Insurance Co. of failing to return a portion of advance premiums they paid for homes that were never built.

Judge Marilyn L. Huff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California on Wednesday granted the insurance company’s bid to toss the suit, but allowed CRV Imperial-Worthington LP and the other plaintiffs 30 days to repair their claims.
