9th Circ. Upholds Vernal Pool Habitat Protections

Law360, New York (August 10, 2010, 3:25 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed the designation of roughly 850,000 acres of critical habitat for 15 federally protected vernal pool species, turning back a legal challenge brought by the Building Industry Association of the Bay Area and other industry groups.
