FDIC Scores Seat At River Road's Bankruptcy Table

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 4:47 PM EDT) -- A U.S. bankruptcy court has granted the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.’s request to intervene in River Road Hotel Partner LLC’s bankruptcy, allowing the agency to aid U.S. Bank National Association as it seeks the right to credit bid on the debtor’s assets.

In an order filed Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Judge Bruce W. Black declared the FDIC a party-in-interest after River Road and U.S. Bank reached an agreement on the matter.
