BA, Passenger Strike Deal In Plane Crash Spat

Law360, New York (August 13, 2010, 6:54 PM EDT) -- British Airways PLC has settled a passenger's claims that he suffered health problems from smoke inhalation during a crash landing at London City Airport, which in turn led to post traumatic stress disorder.

Judge Brian M. Cogan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York dismissed the case Friday, saying the parties had settled the case, just a day after he rejected BA and the passenger's motions for partial summary judgment.
