RIM Can’t Shake Kodak’s Smartphone ITC Case

Law360, New York (August 18, 2010, 1:28 PM EDT) -- Research In Motion Ltd. has lost a bid for a judgment that its smartphones do not infringe patented camera technology held by Eastman Kodak Co., in a U.S. International Trade Commission investigation that has also ensnared Apple Inc.

In a confidential order, ITC Judge Paul J. Luckern on Friday denied a motion by RIM seeking a summary determination of noninfringement.
