IP Takes Back Seat To Labor, Contract Disputes, Survey Finds

Law360, New York (August 3, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Employment suits and contract disputes loom much larger as concerns among U.S. corporate counsels than intellectual property litigation, a new survey has found.

As many as 62% of counsels identify labor and employment suits and as their top concern, followed by 58% who cited contract disputes. By contrast, only 33% cited IP litigation as their top concern, according to a national survey of national litigation trends by law firm Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.
