St. Vincent's Gets Green Light On 4 Asset Sales

Law360, New York (August 23, 2010, 3:24 PM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has given New York hospital system Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers the go-ahead on four asset sales that have already garnered nearly $94 million in auction bids.

Judge Celia J. Morris for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York signed off on Saint Vincent's motions to approve the sales Friday, clearing the way for the bankrupt hospital to shed two nursing homes, its long-term health care program and its certified home health agency.
