Condom Maker Sues Rival Over Patent For Special "Twist"

Law360, New York (August 5, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A condom maker has sued a rival over a patent for a special “twist” designed to pleasure both men and women.

Pleasure Plus condoms, owned by Illinois-based Portfolio Technologies Inc., filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago against rival Trojan, owned by the New Jersey-based Church & Dwight Co.

The complaint accuses the rival of infringing on a 1992 patent titled "Prophylactic with Glans Penis Stimulation."
