Execs Accused Of Illegally Importing Chinese Honey

Law360, New York (September 1, 2010, 3:40 PM EDT) -- Ten executives from German food conglomerate Alfred L. Wolff GmbH and one Chinese honey-producer executive have been accused of conspiring to illegally import honey from China into the U.S. in order to avoid $78 million in anti-dumping duties.

The executives were indicted Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on charges of conspiracy and importing honey that contained antibiotics.
