Lance Shareholder Sues Over Snyder's Merger

Law360, New York (September 7, 2010, 5:02 PM EDT) -- A Lance Inc. investor has launched a putative class action over the company's proposed merger with fellow snack food maker Snyder’s of Hanover Inc., arguing that the merger shortchanges shareholders.

David B. Shaev lodged the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, seeking to halt the merger unless Lance puts out additional disclosures about the deal.
