Subcontractor Sues Honeywell Over Naval Base Work

Law360, New York (September 7, 2010, 3:20 PM EDT) -- A Rhode Island-based construction firm has sued Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America as well as Honeywell Building Solutions SES Corp., seeking payment for its work on a $9.8 million project at a U.S. Navy base.

J.H. Lynch & Sons Inc. filed the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island, alleging it is owed $575,000 for its work on a project at Naval Station Newport in Newport, R.I. to improve energy efficiency.
