Delta Renegotiates Lease Deal At Cincinnati Airport

Law360, New York (February 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bankrupt Delta Air Lines Inc. has offered holders of Cincinnati airport-issued bonds $260 million in unsecured claims and an airline note for $67 million after striking a new lease deal.

The offer between the carrier and the owners of $414 million of Cincinnati airport debt is a key part of Delta’s lease deal at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, according to an attorney representing Delta in its Chapter 11 case in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Friday.
