AT&T Settles Analysts' OT Class Action For $17M

Law360, New York (September 14, 2010, 4:53 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has preliminarily approved a $17 million settlement in a class action accusing AT&T Services Inc. of misclassifying its senior analysts and database administrators in California as exempt from overtime laws.

Judge Bernard Zimmerman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued an order Monday signing off on the settlement, which also includes a $35,000 payment to the California Labor Workforce and Development Agency.
