Oil Rig Helicopter Cos. Beat Price-Fixing Class

Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 2:39 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a putative class action that accused some of the largest providers of offshore helicopter services in the Gulf of Mexico of fixing prices for flights to oil rigs.

Judge Legrome D. Davis granted the defendants' motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Tuesday.
