Class Cert. Question Revived In Microsoft Vista Suit

Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 6:23 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court ruling has revived the possibility of class certification in a lawsuit accusing Microsoft Corp. of claiming that the Windows Vista operating system could work on computers that didn't support it.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued a ruling Tuesday that overturned the denial of class certification for one of the plaintiffs' subclasses in the litigation, but upheld the denial for a second subclass.
