Chenega Loses Challenge Of $46M Air Force Contract

Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 5:53 PM EDT) -- Chenega Management LLC has lost its lawsuit claiming it was unfairly passed over for a $45.5 million contract with the U.S. Air Force because a senior procurement official was bribed with Super Bowl tickets.

Judge Susan Braden of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Tuesday sided with the government’s motion for judgment on the administrative record, rejecting Chenega’s suit challenging its elimination for the bid and the government’s decision to award the contract to Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma LLC.
