GAO Denies Bid Protest Over Army Dog Kennel Deal

Law360, New York (September 15, 2010, 5:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied All Points International Distributors Inc.'s protest of the Army Material Command's award of a bid for dog kennels and supporting equipment for use in Afghanistan.

GAO acting general counsel Lynn Gibson dismissed military structure manufacturer API's protest Sept. 3, ruling that API's disagreement with the contract officer's conclusions did not render that evaluation so unreasonable as to merit its expunction. The decision was made public Wednesday.
