ITC Orders Stay of Qualcomm Suit Against Nokia

Law360, New York (February 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission investigation into patent infringement by cell phone giant Nokia Corp., initiated by Qualcomm Inc., has been stayed by the administrative law judge, Nokia said Tuesday.

Qualcomm filed a complaint with the ITC against the Finnish company in June 2006, and the ITC commenced its investigation in July. A trial on the matter was scheduled to start on March 5, but the investigation has now been suspended indefinitely.
