Stay On $53M Ruling Upheld In Spent Nuclear Fuel Suit

Law360, New York (September 16, 2010, 6:13 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has denied the Sacramento Municipal Utility District's bid to lift a stay on the execution of a $53 million breach of contract judgment against the U.S. Department of Energy for its failure to remove spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste from a nuclear power plant.
